this modest site presents a taste of the artwork currently being produced by mitchell shernoff. the work has been dubbed "tapings" as a nod to the unique medium of colored tape used to create images of bold textures and contrasts.

as with all art, these pieces are best appreciated in person, where their impact is readily felt. the intent of this site is merely to whet the appetite. i invite those interested in seeing the tapings to contact me via email.
